An Information Session is a presentation given by an employer to provide you with details about the various career paths and benefits offered by their company. The benefits of
an Information Session are varied:
- This is an excellent opportunity to speak directly with company representatives in a personalized, informal environment. Information Sessions are usually held in the Career
Center Conference Room
- The session offers a realistic, insider's viewpoint of work life in a specific industry.
- Students repeatedly say it is more satisfying to talk face-to-face with employers than to merely search a company web site.
- This is an opportunity to network with company recruiters and to ask questions.
