Employer Information Sessions

How can I schedule an Information Session at the Career Center?

  • Login to BeachLINK
  • Go to Quick Links and click on "Request New Information Session"
  • Complete the online form and submit. Be sure to provide a presentation description and state what majors you are seeking. This information is needed to promote your event.
  • You will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
  • There is no charge for this service.

If I schedule an Information Session, will the Career Center promote it for me?

Because this is a free service, Info Session promotion by the Career Center is limited. The event will be promoted by direct email on BeachLINK and fliers are created to get the word out on campus, but attendance at info sessions using these methods can still be unpredictable. The companies who use the Job Fair or some other student activity to promote their Information Session can usually expect increased attendance.  You may also choose to place an ad promoting your event in the campus newspapers, Daily 49er, (562) 985-5736 and The Union Weekly, (562) 985-8683.

May I serve refreshments at the Info Session?

We no longer allow food (bottled water excepted) at Career Center Information Sessions.
